I'm a Stanford math graduate and software engineer with a passion for competition math and a talent for making hard concepts click. I coach and tutor students of all ages who love math and are excited to go further than the classroom takes them. My focus is on helping students understand why things work, not just how to execute procedures.

My background: I'm a USAMO qualifier and four-time AIME qualifier. I attended Canada/USA Mathcamp and the Research Science Institute at MIT, and earned a BS in Mathematics and MS in Computer Science (AI specialty), both from Stanford. After graduating, I spent over a decade as a software engineer at a major tech company, where mentoring and teaching were an important part of my role. I currently coach a number of students preparing for math competitions, including all levels of AMC and AIME. I also tutor computer science and provide software engineering interview prep.

I have a deep love for math that I hope comes through in every session!
